Amari Cooper Fighting Through Heel Sprain
5 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper (heel) has been dealing with a heel muscle strain, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. However, he has not been ruled out for the rest of the preseason. Cooper should be fine for the regular season opener, but this is an injury worth watching. The 25-year-old's fantasy stock had hit an all-time low in Oakland last year before he was dealt to Dallas, where he was reinvigorated. He finished with 53 catches for 725 yards and six touchdowns in only nine games with the Cowboys and should remain the No. 1 option for Dak Prescott. There remains some risk with Cooper, but he certainly has WR1 upside in his first full season in Dallas. He's RotoBaller's No. 14 fantasy wideout and can be had as a WR2 in the third or fourth round.
