Alperen Sengun Bags A Double-Double
3 years agoHouston Rockets center Alperen Sengun recorded his first career double-double in Sunday's blowout loss against the Suns, notching 10 points and 10 rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench. He shot 4-for-6 from the floor and was 2-for-3 at the line, while also registering four assists with one block and two turnovers. The 19-year-old rookie has averaged barely over 19 minutes a night, but he's still filled the stat sheet nicely with 9.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.6 blocks and 1.4 steals. The Rockets are going nowhere and have taken 11 straight losses, which means that Sengun has a good chance to get a bigger role at some point in the season and he could then end up with plenty of juicy fantasy lines.
