5 years agoMinnesota Vikings rookie running back Alexander Mattison (ankle) is inactive for Week 17 against the Bears. Quarterback Kirk Cousins will be active for the start of the game. With both Dalvin Cook (shoulder) and Mattison out, it should be Mike Boone and Ameer Abdullah sharing the backfield duties against Chicago in this meaningless game. Abdullah actually saw more work than Boone last week, so this is a shaky situation for fantasy owners still playing for a title. Cousins is active, but backup Sean Mannion is still expected to get the start with the Vikings resting up for the postseason.
