Alex Verdugo Not Close To Returning
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Alex Verdugo (oblique) isn't taking part in baseball activities yet and is still feeling discomfort with his right oblique muscle, according to manager Dave Roberts. Verdugo has been out since Aug. 6 and won't return until the start of September at the earliest. It's a shame for the Dodgers and his fantasy owners, as Verdugo was hitting .294/.342/.475 on the season. Among others, utility players Kike Hernandez and Chris Taylor can help fill in for Verdugo in the Dodgers outfield until he returns. Keep Verdugo stashed in hopes that he can help you in the season's final month.
