3 years agoWashington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin scored two goals in Tuesday's 5-4 win over Calgary, tying Jaromir Jagr for the third spot on the all-time goals list with 766 goals. This was also his 157th multi-goal game and the Great Eight is now one away from tying Brett Hull for second in NHL history in that category. He's close to getting to the second spot on the all-time game-winning goals list as well, needing one more marker to tie Gordie Howe. Four of Ovechkin's 120 game-winning goals have come this season, and he's bagged a total of 36 goals across 56 games.
