Alex Cobb To Start Home Opener
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde confirmed that starting pitcher Alex Cobb (groin) will come off the injured list to start next week's home opener on Thursday. He reported no issues after throwing in a minor league game on Friday. A minor groin injury kept Cobb from starting on Opening Day against the Yankees, which was probably a good thing for his numbers. However, he'll wind up getting the Yankees again at home on April 4, which means he should be avoided for streaming purposes. The veteran right-hander doesn't strike many out and is a shaky fantasy option on a very bad team.
