2 years agoAlex Bowman drives well on the Texas road course. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver qualified sixth on Saturday just behind teammates Jordan Taylor (4th) and William Byron (1st). Bowman has been pretty consistent at COTA as the No. 24 Chevy finished in the top ten twice. That includes a second last year just behind Ross Chastain. Bowman has a 40% success rate since 2020 for top ten results. Speed has been interesting in practice. Without stage breaks, it will be intriguing to see how some of the Chevy's perform, including Byron's, on longer runs Sunday.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
