5 years agoHouston Astros infielder Aledmys Diaz (head) will start his rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday and will play both Saturday and Sunday. The 29-year-old Cuban should return to the Astros at some point next week, where he'll help fill the void left by Carlos Correa's (back) injury. Diaz has been a decent utility man for the 'Stros this year, hitting .267/.320/.474 with seven long balls and 28 RBI. He's still not very attractive in mixed leagues, though, unless he's guaranteed everyday playing time when he returns, which is unlikely.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
