Alec Bohm Recalled From Triple-A On Tuesday
3 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies called up third baseman Alec Bohm from Triple-A prior to Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Braves. He is expected to play a reserve role for the final week of the year, splitting third base duties with Freddy Galvis and Ronald Torreyes. The 25-year-old flashed a lot of potential as a rookie in 2020, slashing .338/.400/.481 over 44 games. However, this year was a different story as he slashed just .245/.302/.342 and saw his strikeout rate increase from 20% in 2020 to 26.5% this year. Hopefully the youngster can finish the year off strong and head into the offseason with some positivity.
