5 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is not in the starting lineup on Friday. Jared Walsh will start at first base and bat eighth against Mariners starting pitcher Mike Leake. Tommy La Stella is also hitting leadoff, while David Fletcher moves to the No. 7 spot. Pujols just doesn't have much left these days. He's hitting .228 on the year with nine home runs and 26 RBI in 194 plate appearances and is getting frequent days off nowadays. Walsh has been solid with seven hits in his first 20 major league at-bats (.350), but he's a low-upside DFS dart throw hitting near the bottom of the order.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
