AJ McCarron Injures Shoulder Friday
6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback AJ McCarron (shoulder) suffered a right shoulder injury in the preseason game against the Browns on Friday. The team is expected to provide an update on McCarron's status on Saturday. All four of the series McCarron played in on Friday were three-and-outs. Rookie QB Josh Allen replaced him and was 3-for-6 for 12 yards and a 56.3 passer rating. McCarron was expected to enter the season as the starter, but if his injury forces him to miss time, this could open it up for Allen to win the job in his rookie season. Nathan Peterman is the other QB on roster. Allen has a big arm but is much more attractive as a dynasty asset, even if he wins the starting gig.
