AJ McCarron Going For Second Opinion
6 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said quarterback AJ McCarron (shoulder) is going for a second opinion, as tests on his broken collarbone were "not totally conclusive." McCarron was injured in the team's second preseason game last week. While he might not have to miss as much time depending on the tests, his injury gives way for rookie Josh Allen to take over the starting duties to open the regular season. While Allen is still technically battling Nathan Peterman, it'd be a surprise at this point if Allen isn't the guy.
