2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon took four carries for 15 yards during the team's 23-21 loss to the Washington Commanders. It was the 24-year-olds lowest touch total of the season and the second time in three weeks that he recorded fewer than seven touches. Dillon has not lived up to the preseason hype of returning top-24 value, but it is not entirely his fault. The Packers' abandoned the run game after halftime to play catch up, and the offense as a whole has looked out of sorts for weeks. It will be tough to consider starting the third year back, even in plus matchups, until we see Green Bay's offense start to click.
