Adrian Peterson To Start Against Cowboys
5 years agoWashington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said on Wednesday that running back Adrian Peterson will get the start in Week 2 against the Cowboys with Derrius Guice (knee) expected to miss a few weeks. Peterson was a healthy inactive in Week 1, but Washington will ride the future Hall of Famer until Guice is healthy again. In an offense that isn't very good and that will likely be trailing against the Cowboys, Peterson doesn't have a ton of upside as an RB3/flex. Chris Thompson will handle third-down pass-catching duties, limiting AD's ceiling.
