Adrian Peterson Expected To Play In Week 6
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson (shoulder) is dealing with a strained shoulder and will get a second opinion, but he is expected to play in Week 6 against the Panthers, according to a source. It's not a foregone conclusion that Peterson will be able to play this Sunday, although he'll remain in play as a volume-based RB2 if he does. The veteran back said he dislocated the shoulder on Monday night, but he didn't play at all in the second half. If Peterson is unable to play, Chris Thompson (ribs) and Kapri Bibbs would see more work.
