5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson said he is aiming for 2,000 yards in 2019. It will be a tall task for the veteran running back heading into his 13th season, even after he ran for 1,042 yards in 2018. Peterson will be 34 years old this season and became the fifth player to rush for 1,000-plus yards at age 33 or older. If everything goes right for Washington, Derrius Guice, who missed all of his rookie season with a knee injury, will take a sizeable load off Peterson's shoulders this year. The 'Skins also have Chris Thompson for third downs and drafted rookie Bryce Love as insurance. Expecting a lot out of Peterson in fantasy would be foolish, but he could still be productive when given his chances.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
