Adam Thielen Receives Contract Extension
6 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings signed wide receiver Adam Thielen to a four-year contract extension worth at least $64 million on Friday. The deal could be worth up to $73 million and keeps him under contract through 2024. Thielen finished fourth in the league last year with 113 catches for 1,373 yards and also tied an NFL record by starting the season with eight straight 100-yard games. The 28-year-old is an excellent weapon in fantasy leagues, both standard and PPR, and should remain so for the 2019 season with Kirk Cousins still throwing him passes. He's tied for third in the NFL with 82 third-down catches and is tied for seventh in both catches and receiving yards since the start of 2014.
