Adam Haseley Seven Days From Game Activity
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfield prospect Adam Haseley (groin) is about seven days away from game activity as he rehabs a left groin strain. He's scheduled to run the bases on Friday, at which point it'll be decided if he needs a short rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. The team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, had a hit in his first seven major league at-bats before going down with injury. Even with Andrew McCutchen done for the season and Odubel Herrera facing a suspension from the league, Haseley might be best served getting regular playing time in the minors now that Roman Quinn is back. Haseley was hitting .275/.358/.466 with seven homers, 23 RBI and five steals in 47 games with Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley before his call-up.
