Aaron Sanchez Undergoes Surgery
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) underwent surgery on his finger on Tuesday. He's expected to be ready for spring training next year. Sanchez had 15 wins and a 3.00 ERA two years ago, but finger/blister problems have derailed his career each of the last two seasons. He finishes 2018 with a 4-6 record, 4.89 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 7.4 K/9 over 20 starts. There remains talent here if he can get past his finger injuries, but fantasy owners want to see it before they believe it in 2019.
