6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) is scheduled to make a rehab outing with the Gulf Coast Blue Jays on Thursday and is scheduled to throw 55 to 60 pitches. Manager John Gibbons thinks Sanchez will need two to three rehab outings before returning to the rotation. Sanchez has been out since June 21. He just can't seem to shake these nagging finger ailments and has become an afterthought in mixed leagues. He wasn't pitching very well before the injury either, going 3-5 with a 4.52 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in 15 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
