Aaron Rodgers Throws Two Touchdowns During Week 8 Loss
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 19 of 30 passes for 203 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception during the team's 27-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. The reigning MVP added one carry for 11 yards to his total. It was another mediocre fantasy performance for Rodgers, who has not thrown for 250 or more yards since Week 4. The stat line was better than many expected against the stout Buffalo defense, but the 38-year-old lost another receiver in this game. Christian Watson (concussion) left after catching a single pass early in the contest. The Packers' receiver corps is a massive problem that Rodgers has not been able to overcome for fantasy purposes. He may have Allen Lazard (shoulder) back next week in a much more favorable matchup against the division-rival Detroit Lions. Rodgers should be considered a streaming option in that matchup.
