Aaron Rodgers Lobbies To Get Aaron Jones More Work
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers praised running back Aaron Jones' work in the Week 10 win over the Dolphins and thought he was especially useful in the red zone, where the Packers scored four red-zone touchdowns. "He’s a great player. We just need to continue to give him more opportunities," Rodgers said. Jones broke out for 145 yards rushing and two touchdowns on a season-high 15 rushing attempts on Sunday. He's now had three straight games with double-digit carries and is averaging a healthy 6.8 yards per carry on the year. Jones has more talent and upside than backfield mate Jamaal Williams, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Green Bay keep rolling with Jones. He'll be an RB2 with upside in Week 11 against the Seahawks.
