Aaron Jones "In Good Spirits" After Injury
1 year agoAccording to Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, running back Aaron Jones (knee) is "in good spirits" after being ruled out of Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The veteran logged just four carries for 14 yards before his day ended in the second quarter because of a knee injury. Fortunately, LaFleur doesn't believe the ailment will keep him out "long term." However, Jones will need further testing to determine the extent of the issue. Nonetheless, with the Packers meeting the Lions on Thanksgiving, Jones may not have enough time to get healthy, meaning AJ Dillon would be the No. 1 option out of the backfield.
