2 years agoFlorida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad (lower body) has been placed on long-term Injured Reserve after he was injured in Monday's 5-3 loss against Boston. Florida's No. 1 defenseman won't be eligible to return to action until Nov. 12. With Brandon Montour (upper body) also unavailable, Gustav Forsling played a huge part on Wednesday against Philadelphia, filling up the box score in 26 minutes of action with five shots, three blocks and an assist.
