Aaron Civale Falls an Out Shy of a Quality Start
5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Aaron Civale pitched well again on Thursday but ultimately took a tough loss, dropping his record to 1-3. He was just one out away from at least earning a quality start, but lasted just 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits. He struck out three and did not issue a walk, throwing 83 pitches in the solid effort. Civale's ERA sits at 1.82 and opponents are hitting just .198 against him so far in his big league career. He's done enough to warrant legitimate mixed league consideration.
