A.J. Terrell Expected To Start Right Away
5 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons took cornerback A.J. Terrell 16th overall in the first round of last month's draft with the intention of starting him right away. Kendall Sheffield could play in the slot most of the time, with Isaiah Oliver on the outside in base packages. Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen are the team's top two safeties, and they might need to step up even more if Terrell and the cornerbacks don't live up to expectations. Atlanta has a lot riding on Terrell and need their secondary to play much better so that the offense doesn't have to constantly win shootouts. It will be difficult in a loaded NFC South division now that Tom Brady is playing for the Buccaneers.
