A.J. Pollock To Play In Rehab Games During All-Star Break
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock (elbow) will play in rehab games during the All-Star break next month, according to manager Dave Roberts. Pollock also took swings off a tee on Monday and is slowly making his way back since being shut down at the end of April with an infected elbow. There remains no timetable for his return, but he could be back at the end of next month and should play regularly for the Blue. Pollock's .223/.287/.330 slash line with two homers and 14 RBI isn't what his fantasy owners expected to begin the year, but it's a small sample size and his blend of power and speed remains attractive in one of the best lineups in baseball. Joc Pederson could move to first base occasional when Pollock returns in order to keep Alex Verdugo's bat in the lineup.
