A.J. Pollock Likely Going On DL
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that outfielder A.J. Pollock has an infection in his right elbow and will likely go on the injured list. Pollock sat out on Monday and is batting just .223/.287/.330 with two home runs and 14 RBI in 103 at-bats in his first season for the Blue. It's unclear how long this might keep him sidelined, but the knock on the 31-year-old has always been his inability to stay on the field consistently. Pollock deserves to be stashed in all fantasy leagues. In his absence, Alex Verdugo is likely to see most of the starts in center field, although Chris Taylor could also fill in. Verdugo has 22 hits in 66 at-bats (.333) with four long balls and 16 RBI. He deserves to be picked up in mixed leagues.
