A.J. Pollock Could Resume Baseball Activities Friday
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock (elbow) had his central catheter removed and could resume baseball activities on Friday, according to manager Dave Roberts. Pollock had been a disappointment to his fantasy owners by hitting .223/.287/.330 with two homers, 15 runs and 14 RBI in 103 at-bats before his injury in his first season with L.A. He's still got a long ways before he's back, but Pollock should have appeal in all leagues once he returns to an everyday role in the potent Dodgers lineup. Pollock is owned in just 42 percent of Yahoo Leagues right now. Alex Verdugo, who has excelled as the regular center fielder in his absence, will be the most hurt by Pollock's return, whenever that may be.
