A.J. Green To Shed Walking Boot Soon
6 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (toe), who had season-ending toe surgery last year, said he will shed his walking boot in around a week. "Next step is I put on a shoe and I start bending it back more and moving it more," Green said. "The biggest thing is it's the offseason and we have time. We don't have to rush anything. The biggest thing is getting range of motion back." Because of the injury, Green had only 46 catches, 694 yards and six touchdowns in 2018. Green has had 1,000-yard seasons in six of his eight seasons in the NFL, and the only two seasons where he didn't achieve that milestone was when he was hurt. He'll be 31 heading into next season and will probably be targeted as more of a No. 2 fantasy wideout because of his injury last year, but he could easily bounce back in an offense that was decimated by injuries last season.
