2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will travel to Houston to play the Texans on Thursday night. The 25-year-old posted a career-high three touchdowns last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This week, Brown faces a top-five defense against fantasy wide receivers. Houston is giving up just 17.2 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position, and starting cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has allowed zero receiving touchdowns on 254 coverage snaps. However, receivers like Michael Pittman Jr., Courtland Sutton, Mike Williams, Davante Adams, and even Marvin Jones have posted successful fantasy finishes against Houston. Stingley Jr. does not strictly shadow cover a specific receiver, and there is no real reason to worry about Brown's fantasy value during a week where six teams are on bye.
