6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that quarterback Nick Mullens didn't play very well in his first career road start in a Week 12 loss to the Buccaneers. Shanahan also said he will continue to evaluate the quarterback position between Mullens and C.J. Beathard. Mullens went 18-for-32 for 221 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, and he continues to fall back down to Earth after his electrifying debut against the Raiders. No matter who is starting under center for the Niners in Week 13, they'll be a low-end QB2 for fantasy purposes.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
