Coming off a legendary card on Saturday night, where we saw Justin Gaethje upset Tony
Ferguson to take home the interim title in the Lightweight Division, we have another impressive

Marvin Vettori vs Karl Roberson
The UFC Fight Night main card kicks off with a very intriguing matchup in the Middleweight Division. Italian prospect Marvin Vettori brings his ever-improving skillset to the octagon when he clashes with fellow southpaw Karl Roberson. A much-underrated counter striker, Roberson will look to capitalize on the heavy volume and pressure of Vettori.
A former opponent of the current Middleweight Champion, Vettori, who trains under one of the best striking coaches in the sport in Rafael Cordeiro, looks poised to continue his two-fight win streak. A win against Karl Roberson would put Vettori right back in the conversation for a top-15 ranking in an extremely top-heavy Middleweight Division.
Pick: Vettori wins by 3 Round Decision +125
Ray Borg vs. Ricky Simon
The question surrounding Ray Borg in every bout he’s involved in isn’t his skillset, but rather his preparation. Returning to the Bantamweight Division, where Borg missed weight just a few fights back, MMA fans are hopeful Borg will finally be able to put it all together. A former title contender against arguably the greatest champion in UFC history, Demetrius Johnson, Borg battled for five rounds before getting caught in one of the craziest arm bars in octagon history. Borg will have his work cut out for him when he faces an extremely talented prospect in Ricky Simon.
If it wasn’t for a TKO defeat to Urijah Faber, and a fight of the night bout against a durable Rob Font, Simon would be in discussions for top contender bouts in the Bantamweight Division. Both fighters coming in on opposite sides of a two-fight win/loss streak, this fight is sure to be fireworks.
Pick: Simon wins by 3 round decision +125
Drew Dober vs. Alexander Hernandez
If it weren’t for Donald Cerrone, people would be throwing Hernandez’s name in the hat for a top contender bout in a stacked Lightweight Division. Only one fight removed from being run over by Cowboy, Hernandez was able to get a strong decision win over a talented fighter in Francisco Trinaldo. Hernandez will look to continue on the path he was on before his TKO loss to Cerrone when Hernandez clashes with Drew Dober.
Dober, coming into this fight with a two- fight win streak, seems to improve fight in and fight out, making him one of the division’s most-underrated fighters. A strong pick for fight of the night, this will be an intriguing match up for both men in which we will see who’s pressure will outweigh the other.
Pick: Dober wins by KO, TKO or DQ +245
Ovince Saint Preux vs. Ben Rothwell
The jump to heavyweight is going to be very interesting for one of the most athletic fighters in the division. Saint Preux, who just turned 37 years young, will look to show the world why he was once a top contender in the Light Heavyweight Division. Saint Preux’s career has been filled with ups and downs, but nobody can question his athleticism.
A competent grappler, Ben Rothwell will look to negate Saint Preux’s best weapon, the Von Fluke choke. It’s going to be interesting to see if OSP can mount a real heavyweight in Rothwell to sink in his signature choke. Coming off an impressive TKO victory against Stefan Struve, Rothwell will look to capitalize on the inconsistent fighting career of Ovince Saint Preux.
Pick: Rothwell +110
Glover Teixeira vs. Anthony Smith
Arguably coming off the best win of Anthony Smith’s career in Alexander Gustafsson, Smith gets an opportunity to show why he deserves another title shot against Jon Jones. Coming into the fight at 40 years young, Teixeira will bring an impressive three-fight win streak. A 2nd- degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Teixeira will bring his talented skillset to the octagon against a much-underrated grappler in Smith.
Speed and agility will play an essential role in this bout as the nine-year age difference and wear and tear of Teixeira’s career will look to be exploited. The widely publicized home invasion at Smith’s residence and how this pandemic has affected his training will be something to monitor. Still, if Smith can put it all together, it will be a long night for Teixeira.
Pick: Smith wins by KO, TKO, or DQ -125
