Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs has had a slow start to his 2024 season, and his concerns are starting to grow.

Unfortunately, Doubs was suspended from the team for a week due to his choosing not to show up to practice because of his frustrations with the offense and his lack of usage.

Will Doubs play well in his return with the Packers? It's not clear if he will start or not in the future. Read on for analysis of Green Bay Packers wide reciever heading into Week 6.

Romeo Doubs Fantasy Football Outlook

Doubs (suspension) was not included in the Packers' initial Week 6 practice report on Wednesday.

After missing this past Sunday’s victory against the Rams due to a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team, Doubs met with the Green Bay management, resulting in the lifting of his ban on Monday.

He then returned to the practice field on Wednesday without any limitations, positioning him to be available for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

 

Should I Start Romeo Doubs in Week 6?

If Romeo Doubs is starting for the Packers in Week 6, he should be left on your bench and shouldn't be considered in your starting lineup.

Doubs should be left on your bench in fantasy this week, even with a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The primary reason for this recommendation is his lack of usage this season, as he has managed only 12 catches for 169 yards through five games.

This limited production raises concerns about his ability to contribute significantly to your fantasy lineup, especially in a competitive environment where reliable points are crucial.

While the Cardinals may present a favorable matchup, Doubs has not consistently been a focal point in the Packers' passing game, making it difficult to justify starting him over other options that have shown more promise and opportunity this season.

Fantasy managers should keep Doubs on your bench for Week 6 and he can be viewed as a low-end WR4 this week.
