With Puka Nacua injured, this was supposed to be the time that Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp started looking like his 2021 self when he finished just 53 yards shy of 2,000 yards. In Week 1, Kupp was targeted 21 times.
Then he went out and got hurt in Week 2. Kupp suffered an ankle injury, putting doubt on his short-term availability.
What injury did Kupp suffer? Will he miss time? Read on for the latest injury update for Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Cooper Kupp Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Cooper Kupp was injured during the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. After hurting his ankle, Kupp was helped off the field. He was spotted after the game in a walking boot.
On Monday, Rams head coach Sean McVay said that Kupp is going to miss extended time. He could potentially be placed on the Injured Reserve, which would keep him out for at least four games.
Rams HC Sean McVay said Cooper Kupp is expected to miss “an extended period of time” and is a candidate for injured reserve.

The fact that Kupp isn't on the IR yet suggests that McVay isn't sure if Kupp will miss four full games or not. The timing of the bye week helps with that. The Rams have three games before the bye, then play the Raiders on Oct. 20 and the Vikings on Oct. 24.
Cooper Kupp Fantasy Football Outlook
Kupp was supposed to eat in fantasy with Nacua out, but now the Rams have a major opening at wide receiver. Who will fill it?
Demarcus Robinson is the best option. Robinson caught two passes for 50 yards against Arizona and played 92% of the team's snaps, the same snap rate he had in Week 1. Robinson is a must-add off the waiver wire this week.
The Rams season is full dust. But I have Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson as flex/WR3ish guys ROS.
They’re still going to run the same offense. And probably stink at running the ball.

Tyler Johnson has an appeal as well. He was targeted seven times in the Week 1 loss to the Lions and then three times in Week 2 against Arizona. Overall, he has seven catches for 99 yards through two games. He's having a solid campaign and should be in line for more work. Johnson played 87% of snaps this week.
Beyond that, Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell are deep-league dart throws at best right now.
