Will Dissly Injury Update
The Chargers can’t claim the top spot in the AFC West. But Los Angeles is still in the playoff picture. Unfortunately, the team will probably be without Dissly for at least a few weeks after he suffered a shoulder injury in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 2018 No. 120 overall pick has played well this season, compiling 43 receptions for 418 yards, both career-highs. Assuming Dissly is ruled out, which will likely be the case, Stone Smartt and Tucker Fisk will presumably be in line for more targets versus Tampa Bay.
However, with the duo combining for only 10 catches this season, neither of them should have a place in any fantasy lineup.
Evan Engram Injury Update
The Jaguars are ready for the season to end, especially since they can’t make the postseason. Jacksonville has dealt with some unfortunate injuries this season, with Trevor Lawrence, Gabe Davis, and Christian Kirk all sitting on injured reserve.

As if things aren’t bad enough, there’s a chance Engram won’t suit up for Sunday’s game versus the New York Jets. If that’s the case, Brenton Strange would likely move to the top of the depth chart. Strange started earlier in the year when Engram was on the shelf because of a hamstring issue.
He hasn’t been horrible during the 2024-25 campaign, catching 23 passes while finding the end zone twice. Still, with a tough matchup versus the Jets on the horizon, Strange isn’t someone fantasy managers should rely on to fill the void if Engram is ruled out.
Tyler Higbee Injury Update
Although Higbee appears to be nearing a return, it won’t be in Thursday’s game against the 49ers. There was hope that he would be back weeks ago. Yet, his next chance to suit up will be in Week 16 against the New York Jets.
With Davis Allen questionable, Colby Parkinson should get more looks from Matthew Stafford. With that in mind, the Rams offense begins and ends with Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, and Kyren Williams, leaving little room for anyone else to get involved.
Juwan Johnson Injury Update
Johnson has been dealing with a foot injury for a few weeks. But it didn’t stop him from getting on the field for the three-point win over the Giants.

Not only that, but he also finished with four catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. Johnson should be good to go in Week 15 against the Washington Commanders.
Of course, things can happen, so if he isn’t out there, Foster Moreau would automatically gain streaming potential, even though Derek Carr likely won’t play after suffering multiple injuries in Week 14.
Dalton Kincaid Injury Update
Kincaid hasn’t played in weeks because of a knee injury. However, he practiced in full on Wednesday, meaning things appear promising regarding his availability for the showdown with the Detroit Lions.
Still, Kincaid hasn’t been as productive as most had anticipated, amassing just 34 grabs for 356 yards and two touchdowns, so he's hard to trust if cleared to go.
But if he misses another one, Dawson Knox deserves some attention in two-tight-end formats, although he hasn’t been consistent this season by any means.
Trey McBride Injury Update
McBride was limited in Wednesday’s practice because of a knee injury. But he will have a few more days of practice to turn it around before fantasy managers need to worry.
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray agrees with the rest of us:
Tight end Trey McBride not having a receiving touchdown 12 games in is a “weird stat.”

Despite failing to find the end zone, the 25-year-old has been a top fantasy option at the tight-end spot this season, totaling 80 catches for 851 yards. If he doesn’t play versus the Pats, Tip Reiman and Elijah Higgins would take over, with the latter having a higher fantasy ceiling.
