Raheem Mostert Injury Update
Mostert (ankle) finished the week with a pair of limited practices, but he does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chiefs. It has been an inconsistent couple of games for the veteran, dropping him to the RB2 tier for the time being.
Gus Edwards Injury Update
Edwards (toe) has looked like one of the best pure runners in the NFL, so it's good news that he was removed from the final injury report heading into Week 9. Justice Hill will continue to earn targets out of the backfield, but Edwards is the Ravens running back to roster thanks to his knack for touchdowns and YAC.
Dameon Pierce Injury Update
Pierce (ankle) missed a third consecutive practice on Friday and has officially been ruled out for Week 9. It'll be Devin Singletary atop the depth chart as the Texans prepare to host the Buccaneers. He should be viewed as a mid-to-low RB3.
Emari Demercado Injury Update
Demercado (toe) has been ruled out for Week 9. This does not come as a surprise considering the rookie had not practiced this past week. It could be a shaky weekend for the Cardinals as they enter Sunday's game with a backfield headlined by Keaontay Ingram, Tony Jones Jr., and Corey Clement.
Saquon Barkley Injury Update
Barkley (ankle) practiced in full on Sunday and will be active for Week 9 versus the Raiders. As long as Barkley stays healthy, he should be penciled into lineups as a very steady RB1.
Joe Mixon Injury Update
Mixon (chest) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 9 versus the Bills. This isn't very surprising, though managers will appreciate the reassurance nonetheless. Mixon should be viewed as a low-end RB1.
Zack Moss Injury Update
Moss (heel) missed practice on Friday but is expected to play in Week 9 versus the Panthers. It's not often that players who miss a Friday practice end up playing Sunday, so the fact that Moss can play is great news for the Colts. He's an RB3 this week.
Jerome Ford Injury Update
Ford (ankle) upgraded to a full participant on Friday and will play against the Cardinals in Week 9. This is great news for the running back after he overcame an unfavorable high-ankle sprain last week. Ford is an RB3 for fantasy purposes.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Jones (hamstring) was limited in practice but does not have an injury designation ahead of Week 9. He'll suit up for his fifth game of the regular season, ranking as a low-end fantasy RB2 while splitting opportunities with AJ Dillon.
Kendre Miller Injury Update
Miller (illness) popped up on the injury report after missing Friday's practice. He is officially questionable to play, though it looks like we might have to wait until 90 minutes before kickoff Sunday to confirm inactives. The rookie is off the redraft radar.
Jerick McKinnon Injury Update
McKinnon (groin) made significant progress this week, upgrading to a full participant in practice on Friday. The veteran will be active but has minimal fantasy appeal as the Chiefs face the Dolphins in Germany.
Boston Scott Injury Update
In a concerning development, Scott (personal) missed three practices this past week and has also been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. He should be avoided in all leagues.
Damien Williams Injury Update
Williams (foot) was placed on practice squad IR this week. Arizona has struggled to find consistency out of the backfield but will look to change that narrative late in the season. For the time being, Keaontay Ingram is the only relevant Arizona running back, and even he thinks that he ranks outside the top 20.
Brandon Bolden Injury Update
Bolden (knee) upgraded to a full participant on Friday and has been cleared to play in Week 9. While he should be active and might even carve out a few touches, Bolden is not a reliable fantasy option.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Injury Update
Edwards-Helaire (illness) missed practice on Friday and has been ruled out ahead of Dolphins-Chiefs in Germany. Isiah Pacheco will lead the Kansas City backfield while McKinnon offers value in the passing game.
Raheem Blackshear Injury Update
Blackshear (groin) practiced in full once again this Friday. He should be active in Week 9 but could see limited opportunities if he remains stuck behind Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders on the depth chart.
Kenny McIntosh Injury Update
McIntosh (knee) remains on IR. The team designated him to return in October, but he hasn't logged a single offensive snap at the pro level. It remains to be seen whether he might play on Sunday.
Jashaun Corbin Injury Update
Corbin (hamstring) is officially questionable for Sunday. He recently earned a roster spot after teammate Gary Brightwell landed on IR. The 23-year-old still has a chance to make his NFL debut while operating behind Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr.
