Austin Ekeler Injury Update
Ekeler (ankle) practiced on Tuesday coming out of the Chargers' bye week. Los Angeles doesn't play until Monday night, giving Ekeler plenty of time to get healthy. Between his practice status and Ekeler saying that he has a "99 percent chance" to play Monday, fantasy managers should feel comfortable deploying him in their lineups.
De'Von Achane Injury Update
Achane (knee) injured himself in Sunday's win over the Giants and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Though it remains to be seen whether the star rookie will land on injured reserve, it's almost a guarantee that he won't play in Week 6. Raheem Mostert will start at running back, though Jeff Wilson Jr. (torso, thumb) should also carve out a role if he returns from IR in the coming days.
James Conner Injury Update
Conner (knee) injured himself in Sunday's game against the Bengals and has been placed on injured reserve, a move that keeps him out for four-plus games. Emari Demercado, a rookie, will likely slot in as the top running back, though Keaontay Ingram (neck) and Tony Jones Jr. could also carve out key roles.
Javonte Williams Injury Update
Williams (quad) practiced in full on Tuesday. The 23-year-old was inactive in Week 5, leaving him with a meager amount of time to get healthy before Thursday Night Football. Regardless of whether Williams plays, up-and-coming rookie Jaleel McLaughlin will continue to compete for snaps while ranking as a high-end fantasy RB3.
Jeff Wilson Jr. Injury Update
Wilson (torso, thumb) will be activated from injured reserve this week. His return comes at a perfect time for the Dolphins, who just lost Achane to a multi-week injury. Wilson should operate behind Raheem Mostert but might carve out enough snaps to generate low-end fantasy appeal.
