Breece Hall Injury Update
Hall (knee) was held out of practice on Monday as the Jets remain cautious about overworking him. The talented running back saw his rookie season get cut quite short due to an ACL tear, and New York plans to "be smart" about re-incorporating him into the offense over the next few weeks, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. He'll presumably split time with Dalvin Cook, making them both uninspiring RB3 options in fantasy football.
Isiah Pacheco Injury Update
Pacheco (hand, shoulder) wasn't cleared for contact until August 21, but he appears to be fully healthy ahead of Week 1. The second-year back was not listed on the Chiefs' injury report and will suit up on Thursday. Consider him a mid-range RB3 whose value could rise significantly if Travis Kelce (knee) doesn't play.
Zack Moss Injury Update
Moss (arm) is "progressing well," per head coach Shane Steichen, though it remains unclear whether he'll be able to play Week 1. Regardless, Indianapolis is expected to use a running back committee until Jonathan Taylor (ankle) returns. Moss (if active), Deon Jackson, and Evan Hull will share reps on Sunday, and therefore it's hard to trust any of the three in fantasy football.
De'Von Achane Injury Update
Achane (shoulder) returned to practice Tuesday and was seemingly cleared for contact. While it's unclear if he was a full or limited participant, this update suggests that he has a very real shot to play next Sunday. He'll operate behind Raheem Mostert but should still get several opportunities to showcase his talent.
Cordarrelle Patterson Injury Update
Patterson has been dealing with a soft tissue injury for roughly three weeks and remained sidelined when the Falcons practiced on Monday. We'll know more about his status once Wednesday's injury report is released, but it certainly looks like Atlanta will open the year with a backfield of Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allgeier, and presumptive practice squad call-up Godwin Igwebuike.
