David A Marcillo 5 years agoRichard Rodgers Will Miss Several Weeks
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Richard Rodgers will be forced to miss several weeks due to a foot injury. Rodgers is just a depth option behind starters Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert (who will both see plenty of the field thanks to Philly's two-tight end sets.) Rodgers was only going to see consistent playing time if […]

David A Marcillo 5 years agoMack Hollins Expected to Make the Roster
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mack Hollins is expected to make his way onto the team's 53-man roster. Hollins had a brief moment as a dynasty sleeper, but injuries and overall disappointing play have kept him buried on the depth chart so far in his career. Unless several injuries strike the Eagles receivers, Hollins will be […]

Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders is expected to take over the top spot on the running back depth chart soon. The spot currently belongs to Jordan Howard, and although he has reportedly run the ball well, Sanders has been much more dynamic and well-rounded in camp. The rookie will still have competition on […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoNelson Agholor Expected to Be a "Significant Part" of the Offense
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor is expected to be a "significant part" of the offense, according to Jimmy Kempski of Philly Voice. Arcega-Whiteside earlier in the preseason, but Agholor has turned it on lately and has been one of the most impressive Eagles players […]

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Cody Kessler (concussion) has resumed practicing. He was the main backup to starter Carson Wentz after Nate Sudfeld (wrist) got hurt, but the Eagles signed Josh McCown after watching their two backups go down. Philadelphia Eagles starting right guard Brandon Brooks is still recovering from his Achilles' injury and has not yet been cleared for team drills. David A Marcillo 5 years agoWendell Smallwood Could Be Left Off the Roster
Philadelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood could be left off the final roster before the season begins. Smallwood set a career high in touches last season, but he was average at best. With the Eagles drafting Miles Sanders and trading for Jordan Howard, Smallwood was pushed down the depth chart and will need to compete […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoCharles Johnson on the Outside Looking In
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Charles Johnson is on the outside looking in for a roster spot in 2019. Johnson excelled in the AAF as part of the Orlando Apollos and looked promising on the Vikings in 2014, but he's already 30 and buried on the depth chart. Behind at least Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, Nelson […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoMack Hollins Likely to Play a Depth Role in 2019
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mack Hollins is likely to play a depth role in 2019 if he makes it on the final roster. Buried on the depth chart behind at least Alshon Jeffery, DeSean Jackson, Nelson Agholor, and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Hollins will appear on special teams a lot more often than he does on offense. […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoDarren Sproles Should Have a Role on Offense
Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles should have a somewhat consistent role in 2019. He'll work on special teams as a returner, but should also see playing time on offense, splitting passing downs with Corey Clement. Sproles and Clement will eat into one another's fantasy value, but either back would be a solid option if […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJosh Adams on the Roster Bubble
Philadelphia Eagles running back Josh Adams might not make the final Eagles roster this season. Adams led the team in rushing last season after joining the team as an undrafted rookie, but shoulder surgery combined with the additions of Miles Sanders and Jordan Howard have left Adams on the outside looking in. Sanders, Howard, Corey […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoCorey Clement Has Competition in the Backfield
Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement could have some competition for passing downs from veteran Darren Sproles. Jordan Howard and rookie Miles Sanders seemed locked into early downs, and Clement and Sproles should handle passing situations. David A Marcillo 5 years agoJake Elliott In For Another Solid Season
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott should be primed for another solid season in 2019. He had a good 2018, converting 26-of-31 field goals, but just two of 50 yards or more. David A Marcillo 5 years agoNelson Agholor Could Lose His Role on Offense
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor could be in line for a diminished role on offense this season. Arcega-Whiteside has reportedly been excellent in practice and could take Agholor's […]

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard should have a consistent short-yardage role in 2019. He and Sanders will share early downs, with Sanders playing more often between the 20-yard lines and Howard […]

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson could have some huge games this season. With quarterback Carson Wentz finally having the deep threat Torrey Smith should have been, Jackson could provide the Eagles offense with a new dimension.
