BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ team leagues
OWNED IN: 17% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The 27-year-old is often overlooked, and it's easy to see why. He only hit three home runs in the minors and plays on a Pirates team that isn't nearly as strong as it has been in recent years. But Frazier's elite contact skills (86.5 percent contact rate) give him a high floor when it comes to his batting average and on-base percentage. He had a very respectable .277/.342/.456 slash line with 10 home runs and 35 RBI in 113 games for the Bucs in 2018 in limited playing time.
He's more attractive to fantasy owners this year because he's locked into the starting second base job and is the team's leadoff hitter. Frazier has modest power and speed -- he's already stolen more bases this year (two) than all of last year -- but the guaranteed playing time will give him a higher ceiling in mixed leagues. He's off to a great start in 2019 as well, batting .310/.396/.452 with one homer, five runs and three RBI in 48 plate appearances. Frazier also has outfield eligibility, giving you added roster flexibility in 12-plus team leagues.
