Dodgers Interest In Freddie Freeman "Sincere"
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers' interest in free-agent first baseman Freddie Freeman is "sincere," per Jon Morosi of the MLB Network. "Some in the industry believe he could be next major free agent to sign." The New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves are also in the mix to sign Freeman. He slashed .300/.393/.503 with 31 home runs, 83 RBI, and eight stolen bases in 159 regular-season games in 2021 for the Braves. The 32-year-old will continue to draw heavy interest and is expected to be one the most prominent names to sign right away now that free agency is officially begun. It remains to be seen where Freeman will sign, but the left-handed slugger is expected to be one of the top-first basemen off the board in upcoming fantasy drafts regardless of where he lands. Stay tuned.
