NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Tuesday, March 1st

Trae Young - Atlanta Hawks

The 2021 NBA second-half is underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, March 1.

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Single Stat NBA Totals

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Trae Young OVER 27.5 Points - I'll start off tonight's slate with Trae Young's points prop. Trae has hit this number in just five of his last ten and at a 55% clip on the year but did hit this number back on February 13th against Boston, the last time these two teams squared off. The Celtics lead the league in point guard efficiency but allow 1.33 points over the league average to point guards. My early projections have Trae scoring 28.35 points tonight, so there's some solid value in this prop.

Jalen Brunson OVER 16.5 Points - Jalen Brunson has been on a bit of a hot streak, while the addition of Spencer Dinwiddie hasn't necessarily halted his production. He's hit this number in seven of his last ten and now gets a solid matchup with the Lakers. The Lakers rank 16th in shooting guard efficiency and allow +0.03 points over the league average to shooting guards. They struggle against point guards as well, so if Brunson runs the point this creates an extra bit of value on this prop. My early projections have Brunson slated for 17.95 points.

Saddiq Bey OVER 2.5 Assists - Bey has been hitting this number quite frequently of late, hitting this in eight of ten. He gets a solid matchup against a Washington team that he had five assists against back on February 13th. The Wizards are 10th in small forward efficiency and allow 0.33 assists below the league average to small forwards. However, I'm not overly concerned about that as I have Bey projected for 3.06 assists tonight and his 5.3 assist opportunities per game should be enough to hit this number.

Other Recommendations - Luka Doncic OVER 30.5 Points, Jayson Tatum OVER 3.5 Assists, Terance Mann OVER 5.5 Rebounds, Marcus Smart OVER 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
