Adrian Peterson Won't Face Felony Charges
3 years agoFree-agent running back Adrian Peterson will not face felony domestic-violence charges, according to TMZ. His case will be sent to the Los Angeles City attorney, who could still bring misdemeanor domestic-violence charges against Peterson. His wife, Ashley, said that at "no point" did Peterson hit her during their altercation at the Los Angeles International airport on Sunday. "It's blown out of proportion," Peterson said. "Me and the wife got into an argument on the plane. That was pretty much the gist of it." The 36-year-old future Hall of Famer played in four games for the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks last year and had only 38 carries for 98 yards (2.6 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. Peterson says he wants to continue playing in 2022, but he's unlikely to be on the fantasy radar if another team takes a chance on him.
