A.J. Brown Held Out Of Practice Thursday
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown (calf) was held out of practice on Thursday as more of a precautionary move than anything, and he's still on track to play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Brown has dealt with some lower-body injury issues this year, mainly a hamstring that put him on Injured Reserve, so his calf issue is worth monitoring heading into the weekend. The 24-year-old returned last Thursday and put on a show against the San Francisco 49ers, catching 11 of a career-high 16 targets for 145 yards and one touchdown. He will continue to be quarterback Ryan Tannehill's No. 1 target this Sunday against the Dolphins, but Miami's solid defense will give him plenty of attention, especially if Julio Jones and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine don't clear the COVID protocols in time to play. If Brown is active, he's a must-start fantasy receiver.
