Jared Goff Still Dealing With Knee Injury
3 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (knee) said that he's still dealing with a knee injury that he suffered at the end of the first half in the Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Goff was out in Week 16 due to COVID-19, but he's off the list and missed practice on Wednesday with his knee issue. If the 27-year-old is able to get back on the practice field in the next two days, he should start under center for the Lions in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks and their atrocious pass defense. If not, Tim Boyle would likely get a second straight start after going 24-for-34 for 187 yards with a touchdown and interception last week. Even in the great matchup, Goff would remain a low-upside QB2 if he makes his return on Sunday.
