Adam Thielen Undergoes Season-Ending Ankle Surgery
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his ankle, according to sources. Thielen returned in Week 16 after missing the previous two games with a high left ankle sprain, but he aggravated the injury in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The talented wideout will finish his 2021 campaign with 67 receptions for 726 yards and a team-leading 10 touchdowns in 13 games played. Fantasy managers can drop Thielen this week for other options on the waiver wire if they are still alive in the playoffs. Alongside star wideout Justin Jefferson, K.J. Osborn will once again be the No. 2 wideout in Minnesota, making him more attractive as a WR3/flex in starting lineups. Tight end Tyler Conklin will also see added targets to close out the regular season.
