Miles Sanders Ruled Out For The Rest Of The Day
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (hand) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the New York Giants due to a hand injury. It's a tough break for Sanders' fantasy managers, as he had 6.4 yards per carry on seven rushing attempts for 45 yards before leaving the game. He also caught one of his three targets in the passing game for three yards. Sanders had two straight 100-yard rushing games entering Week 16 and was a solid RB2 play in a good matchup against the Giants, but it wasn't meant to be. Jordan Howard and Boston Scott should share most of the backfield work the rest of the way with Sanders out, and they will both be attractive waiver-wire pickups heading into next week if Sanders' hand injury is serious enough to keep him out in Week 17.
