Wendell Carter Jr. Puts In Work In Every Area
3 years agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. returned to the lineup on Thursday with a really nice all-around performance, racking up 17 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks in a 110-104 loss to New Orleans. He shot 5-for-12 from the field and 6-for-6 at the line with a 1-for-3 effort from three-point range. Carter Jr. also impressed by having zero turnovers in 30 minutes. His return pushed Robin Lopez back to the bench and he only made a six-minute cameo. A Christmas Day meeting with Miami is now coming up for Orlando. Carter Jr. should have a chance to shine in that special matchup as well, with Miami struggling with injuries and playing without starting center Bam Adebayo (thumb).
