Noah Fant Has A Team-High Five Catches Sunday
3 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant was second on the team with six targets in the 15-10 Week 15 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and he had a team-high five receptions for 57 yards on Sunday. This was Fant's best game since he caught five of six targets for 59 yards in Week 10, but the problem was that his backup, Albert Okwuegbunam caught three of four targets for a team-leading 58 receiving yards. Fant has had at least four targets in every game he's played since Week 3, but Albert O is starting to steal more targets away in recent weeks. At best, Fant will be a low-end, touchdown-dependent TE1 moving forward in this low-volume passing attack. And it could get worse if quarterback Drew Lock is forced to start for the injured Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) in Week 16.
